You may have seen some map-like stains in your furniture, and these stains may vary in color. They can come from the food you eat and drink that accidentally drops on them or even coming from dirty clothing and feet. These stains are an unpleasant sight in a room especially if they are evident even from afar. Upholstery cleaning depends on the type of stain that you wish to remove. They may look tough and hard in the surface, but they can be removed only if you use the right method and procedure. The cleaning process also depends on the type of fabric where the stain has adhered to. Try to check and test the fabric with the upholstery cleaning solution you intend to use to make sure that it would not create any discoloration.
The Simple Steps
Mild stains or new stains can be removed using inexpensive upholstery cleaning sprays or even baby wipes. The mild alcohol content of the wipes makes it evaporate easily and dries off the upholstery fast. If the stains are large, try some other procedure.
